On Thursday, August 29, 2013, Boston fast-food workers made history as part of the thousands to walk off their jobs in more than 50 cities as part of the largest-ever strike to hit the $200 billion fast-food industry. Darrin Howell from MassUniting led ​fast-food workers on strike in Boston for the first time, joining a growing fight for ​a $15/ hour ​minimum wage and the right to form a union without retaliation or unfair labor practices.
