In Archived, Social and Economic Justice Rallies (Occupy moment)

On March 30, 2013, The Retailers Association of Massachusetts mounted a public campaign to defeat legislation that would raise the minimum wage and ensure earned sick time for workers in Massachusetts. After rallying at the State House, Darrin Howell led dozens of workers as they made their way to the Retailers Association building to ask them to stop their campaign against workers’ rights. The group then moved on to Walgreens in Downtown Crossing. Walgreens is a board member of the Retailers Association.
